????????   Linda,  why is this your  last Monday to work?   Did I miss something on your other posts?    I'm headed out the door this a.m. for my PCP visit.  He will let me know what needs to be done now as far as lab work goes.  I know what needs to be done.   And it feels good to have all this behind me.  I don't think I'm making much sense...  I keep wanting to fall asleep... lol  sigh,  More later.  Millie

Hiya Millie, I finally have Mondays off, after trying for 3 years. That way I have a day for business.
I am happy.
I hope you get a nap soon.
Be well, sweetie.

Good morning, Linda.

I had a few good moments with Mom yesterday, reminiscing about the various dogs we had when I was growing up.

I got pissed off during church yesterday, though, when the priest made fun of Episcopalians (it's an Episcopal church) for the millionth time.   He makes disparating remarks about how close-minded we are, or how we hate change, or whatever.  Well, those qualities aren't unique to Episcopalians in my experience, and I expect the purported leader of our parish to show more respect for our church and its members than this guy does.  He is not a wildly popular priest as it is - as a member of the church's vestry committee, I've heard a lot of other complaints about him.  But he's just a human being, and I've tried to be tolerant, but yesterday I just snapped.  I sent him an e-mail (with a copy to our church's senior warden) telling him how I felt about it, and saying that if he did it again, I'd take a hike.  I was brought up Methodist, and confirmed as a Methodist, long before I ever became an Episcopalian.  I could easily go back to the Methodist church - there are plenty of choices in this area - and not have to listen to wisecracks about my faith.

Jean, I am glad to hear you enjoyed your mom. I am sorry to hear about your priest. I do not care for anyone to make fun of anyone's religion. Self depreciating is the worse.
I hope he wakes up and smells the coffee.
Take care honey.

Good morning to you sweet little Linda. I hope that this wonderful Tuesday #1 is being good to you. Why is this your last Monday to work? Just wondering and being nosy.

Bill is working days this week since his boss is on vacation yet again. It seems to me that she just came back from Florida, but what do I know? So everything is quiet around here with the exception of the phone. It keeps ringing. Oh well, such is life.

I lost another 2 pounds since last week. So I guess I must be doing something right. That made my day pretty much. I am down now to 187. YEA!!!!!!

B: grapes and that is it
L: ham and cheese roll ups
D: meatballs and sauce with some veggies
S: who knows if there will even be one ha ha

I wish you a wonderful day and I am sending love and hugs to you along with keeping you and yours in my special prayers.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good afternoon to everyone - I am confused, too, Linda - why is this your last Monday to work??

Brenda - great job on the 2 pound loss!

I am working tonight, but I decided to go to water aerobics and then come home and go back to bed.  It is so hard to get things to work out with my work schedule.  And I won't be able to go anymore this week, but next week I can make 2 sessions.

Breakfast:  made another attempt at a cappacino and this one was better than yesterday's.  I used the International Cafe - sugar free mocha with milk and vanilla protein.  I would have to call this one *Good*

Lunch and Supper:  don't know - I will be taking some things to work tonight.  I have some turkey meatloaf and I am sure I will take that.  Just not sure what I will do before I go to work.  I will also take a cheese stick and some protein pudding to take with me.

Everyone have a great Monday...

Shelia

Linda,
Looks like we are all confused about your work schedule. What's up?

I made a triple batch of chicken cacciatore. The trick will be to get containers into the freezer before Tom pigs out on it. And NO!! I would not forgive him.
For the next few weeks, cooking will be a challenge, so it will be good to have ready made meals in the freezer. Not so much the cooking as bending into the cupboards for the cooking utensils.

Catch you later

I made my bonus too! So grands will have a good Christmas.
Do not beat Tom up!!
