A friend I have online on my woodworking forum was kind enough to send me a chunk of Texas Sweetgum.... it sure felt great to turn something besides pens!

I had a blast... had to pause occasionally to ice my knee down but I got it done...

There has got to be a source for trees around here somewhere!!!

Marc, it is soo cool. I have a cousin in California that use to blow glass and I have a neat white piece he blew me. It look like small pitcher with a bottle stopper. I love it, anything thats hand made it neater. Beth
