Attention: BRENDA!!!!
Oh George! You know the way to talk to a lady! I love enchiladas! Thanks so much and it was so good.
I love mexican food. Usually when Bill and I go out for Mexican we go to Santiago's in Porter. That is Bill's favorite mexican restaurant. I love it too. I usually get the El Pastor Pork Burritto and OMG is that soooo good. I love just about anything mexican.
Thanks again for the bite you sweet talker you!

Linda, it is something about the wonderful tasting red El Pastor sauce that just attracts me to them. I love spicey and always have and even more now since wls. I always make sure the cheese in on the top too. OMG I am getting so hungry. Can't go to Santiagos today though. I am haveing my great neice all day. Oh dear! Maybe another day. My mouth is watering right now and it is only 7:15~how sad!
I too love hot and spicey!! Even more so since WLS!!!
The hunger thing is why I do not visit food sections here. At least if it comes off the daily thread, most likely it is something I allow myself.
Sometimes I have to turn Anthony Bourdain off, and I no longer watch the food network.
I do watch H3ll's Kitchen though. That chef is tough, also the portions of their food let's you know why they stay thin!!
I used to say. "That's a portion, get real", now I say..ohhh I see.
No wonder we have so many fat Americans. I taped a show about heavy kids and lipo suction, they keep them in a camp for 6 months and teach them good eating habits and exercise. There was one young lady who was counting on this operation to cure her obesity. There were painful memories of my wishing they could slice the fat off my body when I was a teenager.
Well, this girl could not have it because she had a low iron count. She had to go home and do it the healthy way, which I think was the best thing for her. When she went away to a Las Vegas with her mom and cousin for the weekend, her mom gambled the entire weekend and she pigged out with her young cousin. There is a lot of fixing needed in this young ladies life.
I taped the show for my oldest grandson who is as handsome as can be, but unlike his brother, has inherited the fat gene. We watched it together and he got to see many young boys over 300 pounds. I then told the little grandson, who automatically chooses veggies and yogurt over startches not to lecture his brother, as he himself has a sweet tooth. I explained to him that you can can be thin and unhealthy too.
They no longer have sugar and sweet snacks in their home. I make them the prettiest fruit trays and they love it. Sometimes they get sweets, but it is the exception, not the rule.
I show my grandson my arms, my thighs. I explain to him that even if you are fat, and lose the weight, your body will never be the same. I showed him by blowing up a balloon ,and then letting the air out, he got the picture.
He now comes home proud that he had salad and healthy things at school.
We love him, and we will not let this happen to him.
Like Doctor Phil said, "Are these kids going to the store and putting this food in their homes at 10 years old"?
It takes a family doing the right things....
Off the soap box...LOL.
Hugs!
