IT'S SUNDAY!!! What's new with you?
What a day yesterday! I got home at 9 AM and really thought I was going to sleep. Mary was having a garage sale, no problem. She needed me to go up the block to put up the sign for her. So, naturally, I did. Then I went home and told her I was going to bed. 30 seconds later I heard a scream. She had fallen and landed face first on the concrete. Keep in mind she has Parkinson's Disease. I helped her up and talked with her a little. Knee was swollen, as was her nose, but no apparent breaks. I finally got to bed. Within 3 hours, I hear footsteps in the house. My son and his family stopped by to check the garage sale. Of course I hear the grandkids going around. I stayed in bed, but could not sleep. They left, and at 2 PM I had to help Mary bring everything into the garage. Then had to get dressed for the dinner last night with the Texas Message Board. Had a great time there, now I am at work. It never stops.
My Mets won and the Cubs did us a favor. Now the Mets and Brewers are tied going into the last day of the season. If they both win, or both lose tomorrow, a one game playoff on Monday. WOW!! Tomorrow, I am a Cubs fan.

George, I am so sorry to hear of Mary's fall. I bet she is going to be stiff and sore today. She is in my prayers.
Nothing new going on with me today. I am going to church and I am having my great neice all day today. I get her before church and then have her until 5 today.
We are all going to our great nephews 2nd birthday party this afternoon. I can't believe that he is 2 already. How time flies by and faster each year. Damien is the one that has his middle name named after Bill. He is so cute. Just a beautiful little boy. Like his daddy David was and like my hubby Bill was. All 3 of them are so different than Jimmy (David's older brother) who is mostly like Bill's brother and their father. I love Jimmy but David holds a special place in my heart. Now you know why.
I better get moving. I have to get ready for church and it takes longer to get this face ready to greet people. If they saw me like this they all would turn and run away screaming!

I hope Mary feels better. We were in a car accident last night. Some jerk has a tank (yes a real Army tank) in his yard which of course is a distraction. Both of us were looking at the tank and unfortunately did not see the stop sign. My dh hit this poor woman and probably totalled his car. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt (I have a huge knot on my lower leg and my chest hurts from the seat belt but very minor considering). Also a fortunate thing was neither of her five kids or our two were there. It sucks but at least I am here to talk about it. LETS GO METS!!!!!!!!!!

This baseball season is coming down to the wire for our teams. For the White Sox, it's a matter of not playing well ... at least the Mets got a well-pitched game.
They were starting the Mets game late or I would have watched the first hour of it. Oh well. Now it's time for the Sox game.
