WHAT'S NEW SUNDAY!!!!
Good Morning Janet! Nice to see your smiling face this morning! It was time for Angus and Daphne to go outside and get breakfast, so I made myself a cuppa tea and am going to go back to bed for a little bit soon!
Had a LONG day yesterday. Had to be in Waterville by 8am for a festival at which I set up a craft table to benifit Planned Pethood. I took Daphne (she's a PPI alumni). It was overcast most of the day so didn't get real warm. One of our foster moms dropped off her 11(YES 11) foster puppies and the other couple had 2 foster pups and their 125lb neopolitin mastiff foster there. Needless to say, puppies eat, drink and pee! LOL busy day. Couldn't leave until after 4pm and by then I had a massive headache, had been peed on, and wiped up 2 rolls of paper towel worth of pee! Came home, took another shower, changed clothes and ran up to church for a hog roast supper. Gary came over after that and TADA actually finally we got the plumbing FIXED to the bath tub. I sense a LONG LEISURELY SOAK in the tub this morning! AHHHHHHH! So, that's all that's new with me. I will probably head up to $4 for a chai later-other than that, this is a Debbie day. Hello everyone. I hope to have a lazy day, just do what sounds good, I might start with a dip in our swim spa, I keep it at 95 degrees year round. Although in the winter the air is cold, the spa is wonderful once you get in. Then maybe go visit my grandkids, I have 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter and 1 on the way due Nov 7, don't know if girl or boy yet. The visits to them is what brightens my day, thank goodness they are not far.
Whats new with me...humm, I had my RNY on 8/25/08, I dump on sugar if over 5 grams, losing ok, feeling great, would exercise more if it werent for my arthritis and bum knee. I have previously had both of my knees reconstructed several years ago, for the last 6 months or so, my right knee is swollen and hurts when I walk on it. I can still walk on it but by the time I go to the grocery store and walk around I find myself hanging onto my cart for dear life before long. I guess its time to go see my knee surgeon, I have been putting it off because I want to go in there with more weight off of it.
I will be 53 years old in October. My.. how time flys. So there's whats gnu with me.

Welcome to OFF. I was thinking that I hadn't met you yet. If I have please excuse me. My memory is so bad from some medication that I take. I suffer from what Judy says is CRS~can't remember **** Most of the time I suffer from it so bad that I can't remember I have it! How sad am I?
We love when we get new ones on here. We share love, sadness, smiles, laughs and tears. We become like family only I call them the family that I chose and wasn't born into.
Please share often with us and that way we can all get to know each other. So in the mornings if you can pull up a comfy seat and a cuppa what you love and join us.
Congratulations on your surgery too. It is so much fun, living this new wonderful life. I had my rny almost a year ago~my how time flies by~and have lost 102 pounds. I feel great and I am so glad that this trip came with a one way ticket because I never want to leave!

Good to see you posting here. We met on the Michigan board, which I don't post on often anymore. I had knee replacement Feb. 2007, and it's not going well ... but everyone else sings its praises. I'm the only one I know of with problems. We're all going to Frankenmuth soon ... maybe you can join us!

Frankenmuth sounds like fun. Drop me an email with the info and I will see if I can meet up with some of you. That would be fun to meet whoever is going.
I haven't seen my knee doctor in a few years, he warned me I may need a knee replacement or two, if I didn't get rid of this weight. Hope its not too soon. Maybe I just tore something again. I have actually had 3 knee surgeries. I hate being layed up. But I also hate having knee pain. I will look forward to the information on Frankenmuth. Thanks.
