I was sad to open up my browser this morning and see that Paul Newman has passed away from cancer. He was 83.....not many of our oldies but goodies left.....

Women are angels.
...and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...on a broomstick.

We are flexible.

Seeing that on my computer this morning made me sad too. He was a wonderful actor and a good man from what I heard. He was married along time to Joanne Woodward.

This is very sad news today. Paul Newman was a remarkable person as well as a wonderful actor.

One of my very favorite movies was "The Young Philadelphians." I still have to watch it every time I come across it on tv. I think it's Barbara Rush that co-stars and when she says, "I'm a chile girl myself." I always think...... for Paul Newman I'd eat the hamburger he offered to buy me! She finally gets that thought but I'd have thought it the minute his blue eyes looked at me.
