MYSTERY BOX!!

Hello, Beth!  The MYSTERY BOX is almost there. 

Because of the US Customs giving me difficulties, I sent it by PUROLATOR instead of by regular ground mail.  So don't think it's a mistake..it's from me! ( It will have a different "source" name on it because my next door neighbour took it in for me and put his name on it..he works for Purolator..that's why.)

I'd removed a really handy-dandy linen storage bag and put in something that will make you smile.  ENJOY!

oh yes..its on its way..almost there.  Just had to do a little finangling to get  things moving...I didnt realize how grouchy those Customs people could get about details! *lol*

 

Nancy, Darlene called me last evening(thurs)to see if I had got it yet. I know that we are in the middle of NOWHERE and it takes longer to get things here....I am very xcited about it. I hope the next stop is as exited a I am.....

I'm up in the boonies too -- more cows than people.  There were no stop lights in the town I gerw up in until just a few years ago.  We actually had an article on the front page of the local paper when a store in the mall was built with an escalator!

I am so thankful that we have OH so we dont feel so isolated....

Still NO mystery box....

I live in a small "town" called Niagara-On-The-Lake..it's a very old historic town and yes, on the edge of Lake Ontario..just a few miles downriver from Niagara Falls. This town comprises of the VILLAGES of St Davids, Queenston, Virgil , the "Old Town" (like Willamsburg, VA) and the surrounding countryside.  We are bounded by Lake Ontario, Lake Erie , the Niagara River and are nestled at the foor of the Niagara Escarpment.   This area is known for tender fruit and wineries ( the birthplace of Ice Wine!) and a very historic and tourists area too...my own back fields (we own seven acres) is part of the site of The War of 1812 between The Americans and the British.
