What's New Friday!?

Oh Beautiful Nancy!  What a joy to see you again!  I haven't been posting much lately but do read everyday.  I just KNEW your business would go places!  I remember you talking about it just last year in Dallas! 
I took today off just because.  My boss is off from noon Thursday (past Thursday) to am Tuesday morning visiting her daughter, SIL and twin grandchildren (just over 2 and cute as buttons!) and suggested I take some time off too as we are in a "lull" period right now.  So she didn't have to twist my arm much at all!  LOL
My dad came over this am and I tried my hand at soldering a curved joint (not that kind of joint-it's copper) to the pipes to finally FIX the bathtub so I can use it.  WELLL...NO GO again!  jeesh!  I'll try again a little later and see if I can get it yet. I've watched Gary and my dad enough that I can do it too!  LOL
I went up to WalMart for cottage cheese and a few things, then stopped at the thrift store and found 3 skirts.  Maybe they will fit.  Also found a black cape (Halloween) and some black short boots I can wear under what ever costume I go with this year.  My pretty pink one from Dallas got ripped last year, but I may be able to find something else someplace!  I'll try Goodwill next week.  Well, that's it about my boring life.  Need to tie some fleece blankets tonight for the craft table tomorrow for Planned Pethood.  Hope everyone takes care and has a great weekend~ I hope to see Joyce on her travels too even though I am not going to Frankenmuth.  Sundays are good for me!

Well, yes,  InfoDIVA has taken on a life of it's own! Its exciting and scary too.  I can solder a copper joint only because I also do stained glass with copper foil *s*...too bad Im so far away, Id be happy to come and help you!

I remember that STUNNING pink gown that you bought at the GoodWill in Dalllas..you looked like sucha  PRINCESS! (sorry..I can't seem to get the BOLD turned off).

Good afternoon everyone.  My 18-year old son and I are both down with strep throat, so I've only been lurking briefly, then going back to bed.  This has gone on for three days, except for our trip to the doctor.
