OT: OFF exchange????
i may be realllll sorry --i swore i would never do this again--should know not to say never...never say never that's what i tell my kids....ok...so
we have, in past, conducted secret pal gift exchanges...we use a program called elfster -originally designed for Christmas so secret santa type thing--
we have drawn for specific holidays, a month ,Random Acts of Kindness, for 3 months at a time , etc...you get the drift!
i am thinking we need to set up a Halloween exchange??????
who is in??????
what i need from you --in PM--that mean**** the contact button under this post !!!!!!!!!!!!!------is your first and last name and your email address...
then i enter it into the program and you will get an email from me ( well from Elfster) telling you to go create an acct (it's free) ****--after a set amount of time -when everyone who wants to has accepted the invitation to participate ; i tell it to "draw" and it draws a name for you to give to...it will send you an email to tell you that--and you go to the site to find out who you got and you start sending them: ecards- snail mail cards- a gift - a random act of kindness- whatever--we usually limit gifts to $10 ..... it's for fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
**** you also must fill in some info on your free account--like your mailing address!!!!! and answer some questions--or ask questions of others- it's anonymous that way!!!
if we do halloween then you should plan on whatever your gift or whatever is to be there by halloween *** that would be October 31st!) and that would be when you reveal who you had......

to be a participant in this exchange you must be active on the board--meaning --maybe you don't post every day but you do post enough so we know that you are alive and who you are and if you are new to the OFFboard we are getting to know you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in other words, lurkers must come out of lurkdom or not play.....
and soanso who posted 5 years ago but doesn't post now cannot play.......

Hey Margo,
This is the first time I've been able to get to stop long enough to say anything..... I'm soooooo busy getting ready to leave tonight for our trip. I can hardly wait to see you in a couple weeks. You just know I want to be included in this exchange..... hoping that once we're back home life will resume it's normalcy..... whi*****ludes posting more often.
