morning eileen and off family....
well bandit got his haircut and a bath yesterday...looks cute and smells good too!!! got all my packing done except for the food in refrigerator....rick will be taking his computer down this weekend so if i am not around its because no pc...we will have it turned back on tuesday but not sure if i can get online to chat here because we will be unpacking and placing our things. our new bed will be delivered monday at noon so we will have a bed to sleep on...a real bed!!!! been since june 17th that i haven't slept in a real bed!!! can't wait to do it again!!!! ahhhhhh
jerry is having a fit that i am taking MY roses out to move with us...oh well i never said they were his....he just assumed they were i guess...grrrrr he still hasn't spoken to me...guess he thinks its all my fault that we are moving out of here...
went window shopping yesterday to look for sheets and towels...its hard to find sheets with deep pockets!!!! and man are they expensive!!!!! also looked at vacuums and saw a couple we might like to get...have to wait til this weekend to get one tho.
seeing the weather on the east coast...waves are cool but sure hope they don't hurt peoples homes!!! all that are in this storms path prayers that you are all safe from harm!!!!
my crock pot chinese beef (stir fry of sorts) came out good!!! rick ate so much he said his belly (like he has one) is so big he can't fit behind entertainment center to do the wires....lol he is so skinny he can fit...just looked like he had a fat belly lol i guess he did eat alot!! he said he can't wait til we had our own real kitchen so he could cook me a fantastic dinner again!!! makes me glad i had WLS so i can't eat alot or i would be getting fatter and fatter from his good food!!!!!
margo ricks car was running good last year when it was time for the e check...his battery went bad and his tire has a leak in it and is always putting in air...might just be the valve stem but the tire has sat flat for so long now the tire isn't any good now....wish willoughby and wickliffe didn't have e checks so i didn't have to have it done!! would have let me come to michigan to see you all!!!! grrrrr
well i have to get calling places..insurance to get addy changed and also insurance on ricks car so he can drive it again and then see where we can get a battery that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for his car...place he bought battery last year they never stamped it and he can't find the reciept for it....grrrr have to call them and see what they can do for him. good thin i am off today yet and my packing is all done huh....LOL

Hi Eileen and Everyone,
Can't believe it's Thursday already. My week of vacation sure is going quickly. Haven't done . all the things on the list but that's okay I guess. They're still on the list!
Need to run a few errands so today might be that day if hubby is feeling up to it. Otherwise, I have nothing much else to contribute. We are still waiting for final word on a new job for our son-in-law. It will involve them moving three hours away from where they live in Phoenix now. He lost his job in the story about the largest auto dealership going out of business that was on the news yesterday. They just sent him a letter in the mail that was delivered on Friday that says the dealership was closing it's doors that day at 5 p.m. That's all it said. Interesting that on the Tuesday of that same week, they had a meeting telling the employees everything was just fine. They have faith everything will work out for the best and I'm sure it will.
