I just wanted you to know that I am home from the hospital late this afternoon. My doctor had emergency surgery this morning so he didn't come to see me and take out the drain until after 1:00 this afternoon. I have a bit of gas (enough to power a small town ) but all is very well with me. He has moved me from clear liquids to full liquids so I am very happy. I have very little appetite and get full with half a 10 calorie jello cup. Talk to you later after I drink some protein.

Glad to know you are doing well. Gas is good ... the nurses always want to know two things ... if you are passing gas and if you have had a BM ... all that stinky stuff !

Keep up the protein and fluids and walking ... the gas will pass ... so to speak!

Unfortunately, gas happens. Better out than in so don't try to hold it back. Keep walking and sipping. You are on your way.

WELCOME HOME AND TO THE LOSERS BENCH!!!!!! keep walking and the gas will pass...got to get it out or you will feel bad pains...i know i had them so bad i cried....walking makes it pass so fart away....LOL and remember to keep sipping....
