Well, the doc's office just called & I have a date for my Lap Band surgery...October 22nd!!! Not certain of the time, but they figure it will be late morning. Wow, now it's really real & a bit scary, but exciting also! I have an EGD scheduled for 10/3 & I hope it comes out fine so I don't have any surprises !!

You've made this journey so much easier for me, and I thank everyone who has posted their ups & downs...you can't imagine how much you've helped!!

Thanx a heap!!

Hi Kathi! You know, everyone is saying the same thing regarding the time flying by. It sure crept on one leg without a foot until now!! Thanx for the words of encouragement...I'll carry them with me!!

Nice meeting you!

Congratulations Audrey,

I am excited for you too. Each time a person posts their surgery date, I recall that butterfly in the tummy feeling.

All sorts of advice comes to mind, most not important. There are two things you can do in the next couple of weeks. Have some "before" pictures taken and take your measurements.

The pictures help you see the progress and the tape measure is SO much kinder than the scales.

I used to measure each month on my surgery date. The months when the scale stalled (and it will !!!! ) the tape measure showed inches lost so I didn't get discouraged.

Good luck
