What do you recommend for a Womans bike?
I have a Raleigh...I've had it for about 6 yrs, so there are some nice new ones out there now. Check out their website to see if something like that would suit you.

I think it matters what your objective is and also your budget. For me, I hadn't ridden a bike in years & was very afraid of falling or bumping into something (I'm not a bit co-ordinated & have bad balance). I went to Walmart & bought the cheapest bike they had - it's a Murray and has the brakes on the pedals, like they were when I was a kid - much easier for me to remember where they are! I like it just fine, and am going a little further each time - I'm up to 12 miles now. I live close to the beach, so there are too many hills & I do just fine without gears. Whatever bike you get, it's great exercise & a lot of fun!!!!
A STATIONERY ONE!!!....I know too many bike riders that have fallen and hurt themselves....be sure you wear a helmet if you do....I have a friend that has Bell's Palsy after falling on her face and another that wrecked her knee. Be careful. Hugs, Marti
