I did not get to answer much,but it looks like you guys had some great interaction. I find we sometimes have 2 posts going, as we respond to the prior one. Stop by on the day before sometimes, our lives are all a story, and right now, it ends with "to be continued".You guys inspire me so much,we share our dreams,pain,victories,flights, and yes, dives. Sometimes,we help each other tread water!
We are all so diverse, yet the road we travel is well trodden.
B-Cottage cheese,and a few slivers of honey dew melon, as it is a high carb fruit, but MMMMMmmmmm.
L- SB savory pork, with some Louisiana hot sauce...OH BABY!!
D- I slice of Wheat Soy Bread, with melted cheddar, spinach salad. S- Planters peanuts.

worked 17hrs yesterday and have to go in for fasting labs this morning before work. I have my yearly checkup (pcp) on Friday and she wanted the results of labs by then. My cholesterol has always been good as well as my iron. What I'm interested in is my thyroid level. Besides my hair falling out, it's taken on a different texture...kind of dry and lifeless. I'm very gentle with my hair since it is fine and thin to begin with and I condition it frequently. My nails have never been better...strong and growing fast. I guess I'll have to wait till Friday to find out what my labs show.

I am hesitant to say this but I kind of feel like I might be starting to feel better. I don't want to say to much to loudly for fear that the little illness gremlins might hear me. haha I started taking Tylenol Severe Cold and Chest Congestion and it seems to be working. Ella told me about it and it wouldn't be the first time that she steered me in the right direction. Sometimes it is good to listen!!!
Food is beginning to be of intrest to me again. I actually ate a small bowl of crab salad and 2 cheese sticks yesterday. So that is a major improvement. I am still feeling dehydrated and so I am still guzzeling the fluids. Even though I am drinking a lot more I still feel the dehydration happening though.
Today is another busy day with a church meeting tonight. I had 2 of them yesterday and so it is getting better I guess. I am going gas poor with all these extra meetings. It is a 15 minute trip for me on major highways each way to the church. My car likes to yell, as my dear daddy said to me in my early teen years, nickle, nickle nickle. The only difference is now they scream mega dollar, mega dollar, mega dollar instead of just nickle. We could only wi**** was nickle.

L: one half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
D: fish with veggies
S: slim fast low carb shake

My doctor is one of those that believes our bodies only absorb a certain amount of protein at a time.
Then you were talking about mucas, so I did know if it was good for you or not.
When my tummy gets peckish, I return to this drink, and you can always add any flavoring you want. Over ice, or blended with ice,it is good, and just thick enough to make you feel like it is a yummy milk shake.
I hope you continue to feel better.
Haven't been around much..... But.. here I am! I'm so glad to see you feeling better, too. Back from vacation and didn't do bad as far as eating goes but I don't think I got quite all the protein in I should have. Today is a new start!

Change in yesterday's menu. I decided not to eat what I brought for lunch, and bought corn and shrimp soup from the cafeteria. Such a large serving, I saved about a third to go with the chicken for today.
B - protein shake
S - protein shake
L - 1/3 serving shrimp and corn soup, chicken from yesterday
S - cheese stick
D - onion burger and veggie, probably carrots
S - peanut butter and 2 wheat crackers
