I am taking it was a great new thread?

Judging by all the activity on the new Mouthwatering Monday thread I am assuming that it was something that everyone liked. I thought that it was very good and had a lot of wonderful and tasty sounding recipes posted today.

If anyone has any ideas on doing something different I am willing to listen to them. I really am not a unreasonable person but then some may not agree. But then again, do they matter to me? haha

I loved the dessert that Carla added at the end of the day too. It is fitting that each dinner be ended with a dessert and who would know best about that but those of us who had wls!

Thanks to all who added recipes and to those of you who visited. I hope that everyone walked away with at least one new one to add to the list. What do you think about making a cookbook and title it something like "OFF The Kitchen Wall"? Let me know and we can do something later on down the road to create it.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Brenda, the idea is great!
I read all the recipes earlier and I'm anxious to try them
I think the idea of a cook book is a great one. This would be a great book to share at our support group mtgs. Good way to introduce OFF to others.
Any ideas for next week? Appetizers as a meal or desserts or side dishes or fish or "food on the run".
Gotta go, have to get to the lab for my fasting blood work.
Brenda, whatever you decide is ok by me. I know how organizing anything with a large amt of people can be.
Take care and have a great day!

Being new to WLS I find the Monday meal thread especially helpful for ideas about what I will eat, how to adapt recipes and what works for others.  Love the possible book idea and title too.

Hi Brenda,

I enjoyed reading all the recipes posted and was happy to add mine!  I can't wait to try several of those posted.  In fact, I'm off to the store today so I may just do that this week!

Looking forward to what next week's topic!

Brenda, I couldn't wait to get on the computer last night to check the recipes.  (I'm not supposed to be online with personal stuff at work.  However, I do pop in from time to time!)  So, what's next weeks theme?
