hi gail!!! welcome to OFF!!!! everyone here is very supportive so don't be afraid to ask any questions you have on any of the WLS out there!!! what i did was looked at the before and after photos and read profiles on people on how they did after their surgery...then i went to a couple orientation meetings on the surgery...got to the point of meeting with the dr and he talked to me about which surgery he thought was best for me...after all the reading and attending meetings i was convinced that RNY was the one for me. my only regret is i didn't do it sooner!!!! i wish you the best in finding your choice for WLS!!! hope to see you here alot so we can all help you through this...
