Welcome, welcome I am very glad to meet you. I can also us some buddies. No one can have too many good friends. The folks on the board are great and have been some of my greatest motivators.
I am 57 so I know about the body and trust me it doesn't get better the older you get that is why I choose to have Lap Band surgery on August 12, 2008. I have had mine in almost 6wks. I love it!!!

Hey, Janene, I am so glad that you decided to give us a try. I think you will get it when you give us a chance. We don't have the drama that some of the other forums do and that is a good thing. By the time you get to our age you are through with the drama. We have had enough of it.
Just give us a try and I think that you will feel right at home and get the support and the love that you need in order to get to where you are going. We are very supportive and loving. We accept you for you and not for someone who we think you should be. We share our lives and all of these people I consider my family. It is the family that I chose and not the ones that I am stuck with. haha That makes a big difference.
