What's New - Sunday!

It is good to see so much activity on a Sunday. We share so many good and bad moments - better than most families. None of the details are boring, it helps us get to know each other.

  The phone rang and I could see by the caller ID that it was Mary's number. At first all I heard was breathing. Hmmm? I said hello a couple of times then heard " hewwo namma"

 It was from 19 month old Matthew - all by himself.  He chattered a bit, said "good bye namma" and hung up.

I called Mary back and she didn't realize that he was actually talking to me. Apparently he hit the speed dial and connected. YAY - I hope he does that again.

That was the highlight of my day.

Laureen I am so glad you had fun at the Bar Mitzva. I had my Bat Mitzva when I was 33. it was a lot of work and very emotional at that age. I didnt do it at 13 cause I didnt like the Rabbis wife that taught us Hebrew so I quit!!!!! I guess it takes being an adult to do the things you should have done when you were a kid. I didnt have a big party just went out to Dinner and socialize.
Well I just got back from doing some Grocery shopping and to the Flea Market to get produce. it was so hot I could barely walk around. It must be around 90 today.
Nothing much else going on in myworld.
Work tomorrow.

Oh Annette, that was so sweet. I had to write to you to let you know I read it to Bill and told him. He thought it was precious too.

I just can't wait until my grandbaby does that too.

Next month I get to see my grandbaby for the firs time. I just can't wait. I told Shawn that I want a copy to go around and show everyone.

well i am still fighting this god-awful headache!!! i am sure its stress induced....its better than it was saturday morning so thats good....also i haven't been around the "things" that are going on around here at home either...glad i had to work all weekend...rixk is hurting big time with his leg again and that pinched nerve...he has tried everything to make it feel better and nothing helps!!! i told him its all due to the stress around here and to just lay down and ignore it all best he can...8 more days to get out of here and on our own!!!! he said i was right...its all from this stress here becaue he didn't do anything to aggravate it!!!

today at work i noticed the moving grid in the pizza oven was stuck...well the gear is broken and it needs repair...so no pizza for awhile i assume...not sure how long before it gets fixed...also the fountain coke machine has sprung a leak down the side...another call in for repair to coke...the new woman that they hired i got to work with today...omg she just doesn't get it on doing things BJ's way and not doing it "her" way!!! i had to tell on her because i was about to explode!!! if i am being trained for the supervisor position there in the food court she had better learnt o do it "BJ's" way and not hers!!!! so the manager is going to speak to her tomorrow when she comes in so it doesn't look like "I" told on her....yeah ok....

feet are hurting me and so is my back...just wanted to stop in and say "HI" hope you all had a great day!!!

Tat is why I dont like being a Shift
Supervisor. If it needs to get done I'd rather do it myself.
Hope your headache goes away soon. I hate them. Used to get them at least once a month and they would last for 5 to 7 days.

hey carla...well she works her shift alone but only on weekends if she works she works with me or with melissa...melissa trained her but this woman has a mind of her own...grrrr

headache is almost gone but feet are killing me big time tonight!!!
