Am new to this - does the century club mean you have lost over 100 pounds???
that is awesome... how long does it take???   Is it hard to come up with ideas for food??
See I haven't been initiated yet and am still getting my mind around all this stuff.
You all seem so sure of yourselves.
Love your little 'thanks' with the winking eyes...lol.

Sheri,
Welcome. Since Linda is probably still sleeping, I'll jump in for my 2 cents worth.

The century club means a 100 pound weight loss. (Linda has lost over 200 pounds and hasn't updated her card yet)

The rate of loss is MUCH different for each person. Don't compare with others because no two people lose at the same rate. If you follow the plan, you will lose weight and you WILL have stalls.

Many of us see a Dietician and follow their eating plan. They seem to vary quite a bit with their advice. It can get confusing.

So .... One of the reasons for this daily thread is to help each other figure this new eating out together and give support.

Look like you got the 25 cent version.

Thanks for the welcome from those that replied.  I intend to stay in touch with this group.  You sound like a wonderful fit for me.  At my age I understand that this is going to change my life and will enjoy the support that you give each other.  Thanks again.

By the way, I went to a baby shower last week and my DIL was writing down about the gifts so I got to watch my grandbaby of 9 months.  She found a blue balloon and I enjoyed watching her pick up and lose it and chase it around the room and even under a chair..  What fun she is!!
Now you all know a little more about me.

I'm sorry Linda. Get some rest today.

I spent the day sleeping and drinking. Today the belly seems calm. I'm meeting Pat R. for breakfast in a couple of hours and can't wait!!

Catch up with everybody later.

Hiya sis. I am glad to hear that you are on the mend.
I watched TV and of course all the activity, was nice..we hung out together.
I make my menu, but I find I am eating a lot of cottage cheese, The Fangster loves it.
 Keep on hanging, :spicey momma".
I am totally jealous that I can not hang out with Pat and you!
   Enjoy!

Linda, I am so sorry that you didn't get your sleep. Make sure you slumber like a baby this morning.

Today is a stay at home day. Bill got me up this morning hyperventalating and I had to calm him down so he could breath right. You would think that he would remember that but oh no, gotta help him. He always does that when he has a bad cold. He gets so full of phlem and can't breath when it starts to thin and break up. Oh my TMI for this morning. Sorry.

B: my glass of hazelnut decafe iced coffee (homemade) and later on my usual oatmeal
L: who knows because I don't~haha
D: some kind of protein and veggie~probably fish or chicken pattie
S: probably a slim fast low carb shake for the protein

I hope that you have a wonderful day. I am sending lots of love and plenty of big old hugs to go with it. Remember this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
