The universe is transformation; our life is what our thoughts make it.
--Marcus Aurelius Antoninus

It's awesome, the power we each wield in the life that unfolds before us. The inclination of our thoughts invites that which we encounter, which is that which we expect to find. What we can become or experience is limited only by our imagination. Our dreams shine like beacons in the dimness of our minds.

Just as our thoughts can nurture positive experiences and outcomes, negative episodes might be drawn to us, too. We can be sure, though, that we use this individual power to create the flavor of each day as it's met.

Our attitude is the by-product of our thoughts. It is in our attitude that we discover strength or weakness, hope or anxiety, determination or frustration. Alone, we determine whether our attitude will be loving or jaundiced.

The breadth of personal power is awesome. Today will be what I choose to make it. No more and no less.

Absolutely true Laureen,
I find that the best way to elevate attitude is to count blessings.
It wasn't easy at first to list the things I'm thankful for.
But now...when my soul soars with an attitude of gratitude,
all things ARE possible.
Yours in conscious creation, Carmel Valley Linda

Hi Linda,

I have found that the attitude of gratitude goes a long way into solving most of my "problems", though often times I need to be reminded that I have what is more commonly referred to as "problems of privlege" than many other people have. . .

Thanks for receiving my share in the spirit it was given. . .

Hugs,

Yup..... attitude is everything.

Mine sucks lately.... it's been a real trial to try and keep some semblance of a decent attitude through all this pain and horrible doctors and losing my job etc...

I am going to try to do better... I have to trust God has a plan for me, and trust that all of this is his will....

Thanks for posting this.... it sure helps.

Love the new avatar... took my breath away!

Marc,

Sorry to hear that things are not going too great right now, but you know this too shall pass and better things are ahead, but it's the hallway that sometimes has us feeling like we are in there all alone, so hang in!

I'll keep you in my prayers and positive thoughts and thanks for the compliment!

Hugs,

Thanks Karen, The photo was take last night at my support group, figured after not having taken any updated shots in the last 3 or 4 months it was time for a new one, seems everyone likes it, I look at it and somehow don't see it the way you all do, but I'm happy and that definitely is a photo that shows it!

Hugs,
