First of all, regarding yesterday's news. Congrats Joy on your approval for WLS. Cheryl, hope dentist visit went okay. Connie D., you feeling better? Judy, just keep counting down. Don't let anything bother you, it ain't worth it. Brenda, has Bill fought back from death's door?
Now, regarding my yesterday. I got home from work at 7AM and 2 of my grandkids were there waiting for me. My son also works overnight. To give him a couple of days of continuous sleep, my DIL is bringing the two grandkids over twice a week early, early. Then at 8:30 Mary will take them to pre-school before she goes to work. Yesterday I took them in the back yard to show then how fast my greyhound can run. I have gotten him to start running laps in the back yard to help calm him down. It works.
After I slept, we went to the timeshare meeting. I have my knack for it. I go in, sit during the entire presentation with my arms across my chest and a scowl on my face. Inevitably, the presenter says "You are just here for the gifts, aren't you?" I say "Yep, do what you gotta do." Then they normally speed through the rest of the presentation.
So, yesterday we walked out with a $40 VISA debit card; 4 certificates of $10 each for gas; a 3 day, 2 night trip to Vegas; and a 5 day 4 night hotel stay in Hawaii. We won't use the hotel stay in Hawaii, but we will use the rest. A free quick trip to Vegas, you bet.
Then, I went to work, but had Mary with me. So I put her on the clock and paid her to make some calls. She did good too. Then took her home and went to full time job one hour late. So I am making up for it by leaving one hour early. A man's gotta do what he's gotta do.
Today is a relatively easy day. Work 2 jobs, but no running around beforehand. Mary has to go to work, but that is all. She will do that while I sleep.

morning, donna and all ! sorry to hear someone else is having trouble getting to sleep!
michael started painting the house yesterday and it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
i swear by the time he gets done with all of the little -and big- things he is doing i won't want to move!!! we do have mice in the garage again- so far he has trapped 5 of them in just a bit over two days- that isn't good! so i'm gonna have to spend some (MEGA!!!) time sorting thru boxes-damn!-i really really don't wanna do that!
i cut my hair last nite! doesn't really look too bad either! just layered it so i am sure there is room for improvement but it feels so much better! i threw out enough for a short haired wig! too bad it's colored and processed-not good enough to donate!
work today and then i guess i hit the garage boxes...
hugs and prayers...........

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good morning all
Sorry you couldn't sleep Donna. That seems to be a major problem for many OFFers.
Pat R. and I are going to meet this week end I can't wait.
We have frost warnings for tonight so I need to move deck plants inside. Experience has taught me to put them in the laundry room or the fur-brats think they are a new playground. The inside of my house used to look like a greenhouse with plants. As we adopted the cats, the plants got destroyed. Tom said it was my choice - cats or plants. The cats won.
I had to giggle at the support meeting. One dear person pulled me aside and said " Honey, we need to get you fitted for the right bra". Same thing my oldest daughter has been telling me.
I have never liked and certainly never NEEDED a bra with padding. That was before WLS!!! The girls haven't just gone South, they have moved out of the country.
What does one put inside those padded bras? If you bump into something don't they become concave? How embarrassing to be 61 years old and know nothing about padded bras.
Kisses
Annette

Annette, I am so lucky with my furbrat -- she never bothers all my plants and I have quite a few....well, one time she jumped up on the plant stand and knocked one off and that was a mess.....I had just had knee surgery and had to beg for someone to come clean it up as I couldn't do it!! Her latest "trick" is sneaking behind me when I am on the recumbent bike.....I keep the spray bottle handy and she hates it, but she will sneak behind me when I'm not looking and walk past with her big fluffy tail high up in the air as if to say -- ha ha Mom, I got close and you didn't even see me. LOL
