Prayers are needed for this area
I got a call a while ago and told why the Indiana National Guard was in Hobart and Lake Station. These are 2 cities that are next to me. They are there because the dams in each of these cities are wanting to break because of all the rain that we have recieved. I was told it does not look good for them. If one or both of them break there will be raw sewage coming in my direction. When Wayne finds out (he is a friend that works for our power company) that one broke he is going to call his wife who in turn is going to call and alert us. If that happens we are going to have to gather water in the bathtub to wash with and get some water for drinking. I have about a half case of bottled water left and I only hope that there is more left when I go get some tomorrow.
Everything is flooded here and people are having to evacuate their homes. My cousin being one of them. Roads are closed here in Portage because of all the terrible flooding and all I hear is sirens going off on police, fire and ambulances all day and night long.
I know that prayers are needed for everywhere but I would appreciate it if my prayer warrior sisters and brothers would offer a special prayer for us here. I just don't want to have raw sewage in here. That would make Brenda a VERY unhappy girl. Thanks so much.

Brenda prayers are coming your way. I hope and pray things work out for everyone. I know its been raining here for two days, they said we have about ten inches in two day but it seems like more. I see some neighbors trying to stop the water from coming into their basements, we are in a tri level so I feel really blessed right now. Take care and stay dry!

I didn't realize things were that bad ... I knew there was flooding in a few places ... of course there's prayers coming your way! Let's hope the dams hold. We have had a lot of rain here too ... it finally stopped raining tonight. Man, I thought I was going to have to find a boat, it rained so much.
