Where is our Galveston sister?

Aloha my OFF sisters and brothers.....I'm on the run, but out of the corner of my eye watching the news. They are talking of Galveston being overwhelmed by this hurricane. Who is our sister there? She hasn't posted for awhile, but I know we have someone who lives there.

Mother Nature is flicking our ear over and over this year telling us to pay attention! Hopefully we'll begin to pay attention to saving our planet. Here in Hawaii our oceans are being deeply affected by human intrusion....the reef fish are 30% of what they used to be for instance. We are finally doing something about it.......laws against net fishing, for instance.

I must run...but I just wanted to pop in and say that I hope you all are safe, and well, and feeling the love from this wonderful little family. I have much to say to so many of you, but it will have to wait. HUGS....big ones...coming to you all.

Aloha nui loa,

Aloha Karen......So glad that our girl is inland and not staying home, hunkering down. Hurricanes worry me a whole bunch!! Never want to be in one...never want anyone I care about to be in one!

Thanks for giving me the name....Terri T.! I won't forget it again.

Aloha nui loa,

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Yep, TerriT's in Dallas.  Came up with her dogs and other critters.  I'll see her in the morning at the RiseNShine for breakfast with the WLS group.

Downtown Galveston is flooded.  It' supposed to hit in about two hours as a Category 2.  Katrina was a 3.  Katrina was the flooding.  They'll have the same thing but no levees.

We're just expecting rain.

Thanks, Janet......I am so glad to hear from you. I figured you would be OK, but the people on the direct coast are looking at a pounding it sounds like. I'm so glad that both you and Terri T are going to be safe, and together!

Take care, be safe, and let us know how it is as soon as possible

Terri T and Kathy Franssen.  Kathy joined us in Dallas last year, not sure if she's right in Galveston or a safe distance away.  Hope everyone is doing OK.
