Good Luck to you; may the surgery go smooth and easy.
Hey Neighbor,
Did you have RNY or the band? I went out today to get a few goodies for after surgery. I don't think I will be bothered by the broth, I'm looking forward to some salt! (even the low-sodium I got is gonna taste salty) haha! I also bought some Miso Soup mix, and SF popsicles. Have you had some of those? I know the urge is to want to chew something....but I figure this is only a temporary thing to reap BIG rewards....so I can handle it....Getting thru the head stuff was the hardest part, and luckily I worked thru a lot of that the first weekend I was on this diet....I shed a LOT of tears for the past few weeks, but I am feeling better now, and just ready to take some new steps. Even tho I am not eating much this week, I feel lighter and I LIKE that!
Thanks for your good wishes re: the surgery. I hope you continue to have a quick recovery and move into mushies soon. ;o)

Yes, I've been doing the broth and lots of jello. I especially like the dark cherry jello. I have the SF pops and the first couple of days they were good - very soothing - less so now. Pretty much it is CIB, broth, jello, and water. I'm a bit whiney but I am feeling pretty good and it is exciting to see the scales move in the proper direction.
I'll probably return to work the day of your surgery. All the best.
