It's Friday Here - What's new?
I am so sorry to hear about your wives's Parkinsons. I hope it is still manageable. My Dad had Parkinsons and I took care of him too. It's a horrible disease. My Dad was a good natured man and it was a joy to take care of him. Even though it was hard to see him so sick, i wouldn't trade a minute of the time I spent with him. Your wife must be a wonderful woman to have such a loving man to be there with her through this ordeal. She is truely blessed.
I have to tell you again thank you for that beauiful poem for my dog. It brought me so much comfort.
Love, Nancy
Thankyou for starting the thread. It was a pleasure to see a guy doing it.
Anyway I feel for you. I used to work nights at the hospital and I wa so sleep depreived. I had to change shifts.
My sister in Law has parkinsons and the medicine makes her crazy. It has altered her mind and she cant make rational decisions like when to turn off the stove. Calls people at all hours of the night. Wont sleep cause she thinks someone is out to get her.
Well nothiing much going on today but work. We seem to be getting busier this week. I did 16 haircuts yesterday.
Well off to work.

Nice to see you start our thread this morning!
Yay it's Friday! I'm off to the gym in a few minutes, so I thought I'd post as I will be gone for the weekend, driving to NY later today to pick up my one cousin so we can drive to the Poconos to visit with another cousin of ours who lives in Florida, but is staying at her bf's house in Poconos for a couple more weeks, so I won't be bac****il late tomorrow evening. . .
After the news I got last night, I am glad to be visiting my cousin, as my Uncle, who is the only one left of my close family, my Mother's brother, was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, it's hard right now knowing what to do, they live in North Carolina and I'm thinking they have a lot to deal with, so we are trying to gather more information from my other cousin's (his children) before deluging them with calls. This news comes as we approach the 7th anniversary of my Mother's passing and so it dredges up a lot of feelings, this time of the year is not a happy one for me. All I can do is pray and think positive thoughts right now.
Well dear OFF family, I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and my prayers and positive thoughts continue for any and all who are facing challenges right now.
Hugs, Laureen

Have a good couple of days and enjoy yourself. That is what we are suppose to do~enjoy where we are and make the memories that can live on and on until the end.
