The nerve of some people
I am so sorry to learn this has happened!
Yes, unfortunately this is all too common, and very sad. Worse thing is people do not want to get involved, even if it will be helpful. What is this world coming to? And it does seem that these crimes for the most part to go unsolved and they get away scott free.
I hope at least the insurance company will be able to cover the theft and the water damage.
Take care my friend.....

Sorry to hear about the plumbing. DO NOT repair it. Report it to insurance and see what they will pay....but either give it to a buyer at closing to get it repaired or if the buyer's need it for financing, then make sure it's done the day before closing.if at all possible.
A Realtor can't be all over the place and I'm sure there was no way for her to know that it had happened. I had two houses just today that had the copper plumbing stripped....and the wiring. A/C outside units are the next thing. Copper thieves are costing us a pretty penny. We are self-insured so we pretty much have to eat the cost.
Chin up. The market's picking up. You'll get it sold soon.
