I'm getting closer

I have a penciled in surgery date for Oct. 8th and just waiting for ins. approval. I am getting very excited and almost wi**** was already finished. The insurance approvals hopefully won't be a long wait.

Thanks Jan, I feel like this has been a long journey waiting for this final approval. Now all the nervousness will start. I want this so badly. Now to get myself ready and shop for supplies I will need.

Happy for you. I had my last nut visit today and she said they gather all the info and get it sent off to insurance in about a week then may take several weeks for a reply...she said they will contact me directly and if they don't I should try to reach them for an answer. My appt was at 9am, I got there 25 min early cuz I had to leave for work at 0925. I sat in waiting room till 0850 then into another room till 0920 before she came in. I had 5 min with her today and flew to work. I was really disappointed that she was late for my appt especially cuz I told everyone there that I had to leave 5 min early.
I've been in this process since April 1st and had first made contact with the clinic last year but several life changes got in the way till this year. The great thing tho is that I lost another 5# since last appt 3wks ago. That's a total of 30# on my own since April. I hope my insurance doesn't turn me down cuz I lost this wt without the surgery.
Anyway, good luck to you and hope you hear that you're approved very soon!

Good luck to you. Waiting is hard! It puts you on an emotional roller coaster. Fasten your seat belt and hang on for the craziest ride of your life. Good changes though.
