Have a great day!! God Bless You, Deb
I worked 15 hrs yesterday, got home at 11pm and I have a 12 hr day today but FIRST I'm going to see my nut for my LAST nut appt before they send off my app to my insurance for my wls. This is a big day for me and it'll be interesting how long the insurance reply takes.
I haven't said a word to work yet about the possibility of surgery coming up but I want to be sure I'm approved and have a surgery date before saying anything. My new supervisor will be much more understanding than my last one was.
I'm excited and tired at the same time but that's ok. I'm supposed to bring containers of what foods I've been eating lately to my nut so we can "read labels" together. The "no added sugar" is what she is mainly looking for. It'll look kinda silly carrying in a grocery bag of empty containers but what the heck, I'm ready for anything at this point.
Had nothing for breakfast yet and as soon as I get off this note, I have to grab something and get out the door.
Have a great day everyone....I'll post tonite when I get home...maybe about 9-10pm.

I love Spring!!!!!!
I didn't say a word to my boss until I had a date set up with my surgeon and my other arrangements made. That is because I didn't even tell my boss what type of surgery I was having (only 2 people knew and they were in my department and the only reason I told them is because I didn't want to be offered treats (both of them are skinny as rails) and I had to schedule my surgery around one of those individual's surgery as well.
I am hoping that it will become obvious at some point. I want to have a lot of "what's up with Sylvia" gossip going on about it until someone actually comes out and asks me. I'm tired of people who disrespect obese/overweight individuals and those who think that we lack self control and that we are stupid. What you may find is that you will get a lot crabbier and not take as much garbage as some are willing to dish out.
All insurance companies are different but I got all my tests done and the only thing left other than the 5 year history was the 6 months of recording of weight. I heard that within 1 week after my surgeon's office submitted the paperwork. After I personally faxed the paperwork from my PCP recording my weight and discussion of same for 2 visits, the insurance company personally called me with approval with the surgeon's office calling while I was on the phone with them. That was 3 weeks later.
Hope you hear good things soon.
Sylvia
I will try to drink more water today. I don't know if I can do twice as much as yesterday, but I will try.
Mom got discharged from the hospital yesterday. She was happy to get back to her own room and her own bed at the assisted living facility.

Luv ya!
Good morning, dear Linda. I am hoping that everything is going well for you. I am not sure what I can do two times more. I will think more about it and see. I have no idea right now. Maybe love myself more today than I have been doing lately. Maybe not twice as much but more is good. I need it right about now. But then again I think we all need to love ourselves more. I don't think we love or value ourselves as much as we do others. And we deserve to love and value ourselves more than we do others.
I am going to shock you for sure~I have already had breakfast. I made a effort to do that before I started posting. I got it done and that is a plus! I have never been a breakfast eater and since surgery it is no different. There is times that I have ate breakfast at lunch time. But I figure that it is better late than not at all.

I am sending love and hugs to you. Special prayers are going up for you and yours. Have a wonderful and blessed day and remember that you are a gift from God to many.
