how do you handle buffets?
Excercise is going to be a major roblem-- did water arobics for over 2 years until the leg got just too bad and I ended up in physical thearpy, then I had jury duty so I didn't go back, then I was making jewelry or upcoming shows--in other words anything excuse. So here I am with a cane, limping to high heaven and the after care person wants 30 min. of excercise. Tomorrow I see her for my end of three week check up so maybe there will be more changes.
My memebership is still active at the gym because I hope to get back--I did enjoy it and made friends there after I retired. Thanks for sharing some of your life. I figure we are all in this together--a new and exciting journey with bumps along the way. You look really great in your picture so I appreciate your sharing your success.

Hey, I'm still using a cane when I have any long-distance walking ... got to! And I'm down 180 pounds ... and with a new knee. Thought the knee replacement would take care of a lot of problems, but it didn't. You do what you can. Any little bit of movement helps. I loved being in the pool but can't do the expense, and I work full time. As you said, 10 minute walks 3 times a day are good too. You don't need to do it all at one time! It's a great journey, and you'll get to where I am, too. It took me three years. Good luck on your journey.
