Just popping in to check on everyone....seems like alot of people are late today. Hope all is well.

I will be leaving for  Minneapolis Children's Hospital in a little while. I don't know how much time I will have to post. I am taking my laptop but sometimes I don't even get to open it. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Good morning everyone! I hope that today is a great one for all.

Nothing much going on here. I made a bowl of crab salad for Bill because he has been wanting some of that. I got the dishes in the dishwasher and washed and the cat fresh water and food. She was in the kitchen complaining to me that she needed some food. I told her to be patient and she would get it. So I feed her and she is no where to be seen. She is now napping. I was sitting here and the kitty from a couple of doors down came to visit. I am not sure if it is a boy or girl but it comes down to see Misty. I told him when he came and stood in front of the sliding door yelling for Misty that she was napping and he should go home and nap too. I told him that a couple of times and he turned around and left for home. He looks like Misty color and size wise but his color is a lot more faded. Misty is a bright tortoise shell color and he is almost gray looking. Bill can't stand him but I think he is is a sweetie. He comes and lays down on the patio and flips around and over like Misty does in here. Last night they were having quite a conversation. Bill isn't happy with the other cat coming and being around Misty. I told him that there isn't a problem since they are not together and there is a screen between them. I am not sure though~so I am asking my kitty loving friends if there is a reason why they should not see each other. So~is there?

I have to get ready to go to the doctor this afternoon. It is just a monthly visit so nothing much. I am going to mention to her that the muscle relaxers don't seem to be working as well as they did. I am getting such terrible spasms that I can hardly stand it. I do have a high pain tolerance but even I can't stand them. I know if Bill had them he would be shooting himself or begging me to do it. Hmmmm I just might have to do that if it happened. lol

I better get moving. Like I said yesterday it takes a long time to get this old face ready to be seen in public. It ain't young anymore and it shows. haha

As long as there's a screen between them, and Misty is spayed and has all her shots up to date, I don't see any problems. She should be fine.

What fun interesting posts this morning. It is so cold  and rainy here this morning I am just shivering. My office is across from the directors and she is sitting at her computer with a blanket wrapped around her.. too funny. I have been busy this weekend trying to clean, oh my this is a huge project and Ihad no idea how far behind everything had gottn,, duh Jean what did youexpect with 3 years of not moving anything to clean behind. I moved a desk that was in the extra room to the basement. I thought it was a cheep plywwod or pressed wod desk, no way it has 7 drawers and is solid hardwood. I took out the drawers and took them down then the desk, I got mad and said I DO NOT NEED ANYONE I can do this!! I got it into the basement , but today my 3 buldging disks are letting me know how stupid that was to do. I also moved all the computer pieces down there too. Darn puter needs a major repair , and don't see the money tree fairy dropping by anytime soon, so may as well it it out of my way and use my upstairs desk for "desk stuff". I am starting on The South Beach diet today. Getting weighted after work, I am really dreading it ,my clothes are so tight on me that I am guessing I am up 30 pounds from my lowest weight. My fault, I have to look at it head on and stop avoiding my bad choices.
Saw Chuck yesterday at church. He was very nice but said one sentence before I left that had me in a mad crying  sputtering to myself all day bad mood. He said "call me, you know I am a communication freak" HA.. he is a control freak!! I have no plan on calling him, I have nothing to say. I heard the pastors husband say to him,, "she said 2 weeks" Thats what I said, I didnt want him to call for 2 weeks. It hit me, he is not taking this thing seriously, he thinks once I have 2 weeks off, things wll go back as they were before, he doesn't get it it that I am DONE. I am so relieved to have time to myself.. once Iget this house back in shape( that will take longer then I thought) it will be time to get ready for Christmas..I better get some work done.. I have a surgery date - October 3rd. My surgeon is booked solid until that time. He doesn't usually do surgeries on a Friday but is squeezing me in.

Until then I plan to take is reeeaaally easy. Tom doesn't mind picking up the slack with the heavier house work, groceries, etc. He's kind of handy to have around.
