What's new Sunday???
not a good wk for me. On Tuesday found out that my son was cancelled from my health insurance and cannot be reinstated till Oct 1...their fault. On Thursday when leaving my home for work found several sheets of roofing shingles laying on the ground....slid off my 3 yr old roof!
Hired a guy to put them back up and he checked my roof and found that the whole roof of shingles was applied wrong...none of the nails were put in the right places. He said he could reroof that 10x10 section of my roof for $350 before winter. Should I sue the contractor that I fired from the job originally? I was very unhappy with the contractor's work...he roofed my home and built a garage with concrete slab and approach....mutliple problems. Then, I ended up having to work yesterday , my day off, cuz I was shorted hours this week and need the money more than ever.
One bright spot in the week....my oldest daughter is going to have a 4th child...kind of unexpected but she and her husband are starting to be more accepting of the idea. This will be my 6th grandchild....she lives in Virginia tho but if I save up I can go visit next year. She and her husband want me to move out there to help out with their children now that my daughter is working again and they have a larger home to pay for. But if I move out there I'm going to have to work also and I just became an empty nest mom trying to learn to focus on myself. Lot to think about.
I'm tired today. I'm trying to lay low before a big work week this week coming up. I have my last nut visit on Tuesday before they submit my app to my insurance for approval.

Well, my dear friend Peg went home this morning..... We had such a great time! I so enjoy her attitude toward life --- she takes joy in such small things -- you'd think she'd recently gotten a "new lease on life". Yep, I think maybe she did for sure & she's making the most of if! As you can tell from my other posts, we had a great weekend. Seeing Kathi and her success was such a joy!!! If you ever get a chance to meet either of these ladies, don't pass up the opportunity - they are GREAT!!!! p.s. Can you tell I had a great time? HUGS to all!
