I finally finished
Denise, congratulations on getting closer yet to the ultimate goal. I know that is some of the worse part of the whole waiting process. It seems the closer you get the longer time seems to drag. Then you get your date and bang! time just flies by faster than a speeding bullet.
Please keep us posted on your big day and again~congratulations on one of your last major hurdles jumped through. Just remember with each jump the goal gets closer and closer.

Great news Denise. I guess every doctor does things in a different manner. My surgery was authorized May 17 and scheduled for Sept 15 (this was due to the fact I had 2 weddings to attend). I had my nutrition class and also pre-op testing completed 3 weeks ago and now am half way through my 15 day pre-op liquid diet. I would give them a call and rattle their cage to get a surgery date. Don't let them put you off. Sometimes patients get the run around. Glad to hear you have the important thing done. It would seem your surgery date is soon otherwise the testing would not have been done. Sandra
Congrats on finishing your tests. Keep after them & before you know it you'll have your date. I remember when I got my Date - that's when I knew I was really going to get this surgery & some help at last. It's an uphill struggle getting all the requirements in & waiting for the date, but the payoff is wonderful! HUGS!
Good luck Denise! I'm sure you'll hear something very soon. The waiting is a killer. I just got my date and I'm really excited. For me it was two weeks from my last appointment until the doctor's office submitted the paperwork and then a little over a week for the insurance company to give the approval. I couldn't concentrate on anything during that time.
Keep us posted!
