Brenda,

I was just thinking about cooking some fish - I have salmon and talipia in the freezer... so share some recipes with me...

I need to cook a couple of recipes for the weekend since I have to work 7a-7p Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Always looking for things that are portable to work too....

Shelia, I just put the salmon with seasoning (I used just a no salt seasoning and pepper) and a tiny bit of lemon juice and then just baked it. It is really good like that. Bill went nuts about that one. It is simple and easy on top of being so good. I did the same with the talipia too. You can more seasoning to the talapia too like a bit on garlic powder or italian season too. I just keep things simple.

Thanks Brenda - I cooked some salmon tonight and just baked it then added a red pepper sauce on top - gave it a bit of spice and it was good.  I like to keep things simple, too...

And the squash casserole came out quite well, too.  I added the chicken unjury after it had cooled off and then baked it.

So I am having left overs tomorrow at work.  Hope they don't run me off wih my fishy smell....  LOL

Hello dearest Brenda. I have always loved fish, my dad was a fisherman, and a hunter (yuck on the hunting though)!
It is wonderful you are giving your body wonderful Omega 3's.
It is not likely to eat too much as far as mercury is concerned as most of our fish is coming from Alaska, and China, I guess that makes a difference, but do not quote me on it.
I think a B12 shot for you is a great idea! It will put the stride back in your glide. I know I needed it and I think you may too.
Your sister in Christ, for eternity.

Yes, I am up and among the living again.. I like to work nights - no administration to deal with, but all I get done is sleep and work....  But no work today and I need to do a bit of housework and cook... I am hoping that Brenda R will send me some fish recipes... hint, hint, hint!

So far today I have had 1/2 c of black bean soup.  I am thinking about making a small squash casserole and considering adding the packet of unflavored unjury protein to it.  And it will have cheese on top and maybe thru out...  or maybe the chicken flavored one - give it more taste... yep - I think that sounds like a plan.

What else?  I am not sure - if nothing comes to mind, I will have a low carb slim fast with maybe some frozen fruit added.

Have a good night everyone...

Would you pm me the casserole recipe? I think the squash sounds good and hubby might eat with the cheese, that is if he isn't sure it is squash! He hates sour cream but like this one mexican dip that I make. Yes, it is loaded with sour cream too! Men~what can I say?

<--ADVICE, not always good but often amusing.

Good evening - long day but pretty good.

I am glad to hear your liver is doing its job.

Self-injections would give me the heebee jeebees. It is my job to give our Joey cat an injection once a month. Makes my stomach flip every time. If you lived closer I'd help you out though.

B - cottage cheese, Kashi, blueberries
L - spinach & chicken salad with raspberry vinagrette dressing
D - brocolli, cauliflower, pork
S - getting rather late so I may skip it

See you in the morning
