Whoops! Grazing
At 18 months out I've lost 100% of my excess weight. Which is absolutely great, but I've got problems eating. Eating dense meat, ie beef, chicken, it's difficult to tolerate, even chewing, chewing. Do any of you graze? I know it's a bad thing - how should I handle this? Another thing, O, Wise Over 50 panel, does the pouch (RNY) stretch?
It scares me to think I could gain weight back. I exercise almost every day and have all kinds of energy, but still worry.

Rudie

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Grazing is the one habit I constantly have to watch out for. One would think I was a cow...... I have certain times of the day I "NEED" to be active to keep out of the kitchen and sometimes out of the house. A few weeks back I had an awful time with my loss. It was from eating too many healthy snacks. I had to take a hard look at what I was doing and what I was eating. Because it was a habit and a comfort zone for me I rearranged some of my craft times to stay away from the snacking and away from the kitchen. As long as you are fearful of the weight gain I think you are on top of the game because you are aware of the situation. Good Luck ... Hopefully, I won't see you grazing in the pasture with me.... lol Millie
Rudie,
For so long I kept losing and had to eat often to keep weight on. Sounds absurd but true.
Lately it is beginning to feel more like grazing. Nothing is tight but I have developed a fear of the scales. It seems like a short time ago that I was weighing constantly.
Nah - we sure don't want to gain any weight - I think the key is to keep track of our intake and plan ahead. Planned snacks, not grazing?
I don't have trouble eating any meats. Some no longer smell good enough to eat at times. Oh how weird these brains work.

Grazing is our enemy!!...oone of the big ones....we only want a little at a time, that we forget how much we have had.....like today...I did really good all day [even worked out RUNNING...in th waer.....and then tonight I messed it all up by eating a DONUT!@#@#.......
You are right Annette...we can't have them in the house [my evil husband brought them in for our cleaning lady] and then she couldn't come today and of course there IT was!........and I don't even know why I ate it...I wasn't hungry....but that didn't stop me.
I guess all we can do is keep starting over, but I am terrified just like you....that I will gain the weight back.
Hugs, Marti
