I may be a movie star!

I was picked to be one of the extras in the movie being shot at our newsroom ... or so I was told ... on Sunday. I was asked for my phone number ... I think that's just in case things change. I have no plans for the weekend anyway ...

I'm ready for my close-up now (that's me on film, being a reporter).

Yea!!

It's fun.... In the Coast Guard I got to do lots of filming... it was always very  interesting and fun....

My "most notable" was the Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn movie "Overboard"

I spent a lot of weeks on the Yacht as the Coast Guard liason guy... and drove the Coast Guard cutter during all of the onboard shooting... which didn't work out too well for getting my mug on screen... almost all of the shots you can't see in the windows of the pilot house to see me!

There is one super-quickie shot where the guy is driving the cutter during the "man overboard" and you can see me standing behind the helmsman... but ya gotta look quick!

Get on camera as much as you can... it's fun later on when you show your friends!

Way to go, Eileen! I always knew you were a "star"!!!

 wooohoooo eileen!!!!! congrats to you!!!!! maybe you could carry a sign that says look at the good job "dr so and so" did on my knee replacement!!! lol just kidding!!! hope you really did get the part and you WILL be seen on camera!!!!
