New Orleans Debbie is OKAY!!!!!
Just got off the phone from a very grateful Debbie. They fared the storm fine, only minimal damage around their area. They don't have electricity, but they do have a generator so their food, frozen and otherwise, is going to be fine.
She saw some very minor damage around town as they were coming back from her sister's.....roof trouble and a attic turbine in the middle of the street. LOTS of police patrolling the area, watching out for looting.
As soon as the electricity comes back on she'll get her computer up and will be back to tell us all about the "Adventures with Debbie and George".

It certainly was good news and from the reports on TV it sounds like New Orleans was spared this time. Thank God for that.
I heard your voice on the teleconference today ..... did you hear me????? Thought my ear was going to fall off
after being on the phone all that time tho'.....guess I need to get a speaker phone, huh? It was all good though.

Thanks so much for sharing that wonderful news with us. I am so glad that our prayers have been answered. I was happy that the storm slowed down so much. As soon as I heard that I thought that there was a better chance our sister and her family would be fine. All I have to say is "Thank you dear God for our blessing".
