Hi Margo

I see you listed as your breakfast protein in water. Does that protein have any taste? I've heard that there is a protein out there that you can mix with anything and before I have my surgery, I'd like to find it.

If Margo isn't using this, is anyone else?    Or is there no such thing as protein powder that does not have any taste?

Thanks! Linda

Hi Linda,
Back to work for me after 2 weeks off! I am changing my menu a bit to see what happens. Instead of the protein shake I am do the oatmeal, the steel cut kind that takes a while to cook. Will see how that does.

Have a great day!
Cheryl

Paulette, you gotta take care of you. Please try to get some cheese sticks, they travel well, even in your purse. South Beach a nut medley bar that is great!
I will pray for entire family, for even the mean ones are in a tortured place.
Go buy some quick proteins!!
Huggers,Linda

Hey Linda, well after reading your post I made a protein shake and added 1/2 c frozen fruit and was able to get it all down. so that was my dinner.  The fridge seems to be ok now, it was operator error....apparently I had blocked the vent with the box of baking soda.........so I feel stupid big time, at least this service man was really nice but why didn't the first one figure that out???.  Anyway tomorrow I will go grocery shopping so I get some easy healthy things here and work my food plan better. I think that is part of why my emotions are all over the place not enough calories each day.  thanks & hugs, Paulette

I am livid!!! I rec'd a notice that my son is no longer on my health insurance policy. They said they never rec'd notice that he is still a full time college student. They never asked for one!!!
When I set up this insurance last January I specifically told them I need a plan that covers him in Indiana while I'm still in Wisconsin! I told them that he'll be in graduate school this Fall.
So...untill my son can email me a copy of his full time schedule and I can email it to whomever, he is not covered!! Oh sure, they want you to sign up but once you do then you are on your own.
It would have been nice to get a notice to that effect earlier.
I even sign up for the most expensive PPO just so he would be covered out of state. They better reinstate him!!!
enough ranting...
I had a protein shake and who knows what the rest of the day...sorry.

Linda,

My husband has today off, so even though I have to work today, we won't get back to "normal" until he goes back to work tomorrow.  I love working out of my home, but doing so with a husband underfoot is a challenge.

B:  protein shake
S:  iced decaf latte (skim milk & SF caramel syrup)
L:  2 oz chicken salad, 1 few slices of tomato
S:  3 oz light yogurt
D:  2 oz pork, 2 oz cabbage
S:  maybe some caramel apple protein ice cream

Good morning, Linda. What I wouldn't give to have a job and get paid money for it. I am still looking but things are scarce around here. Keep me in prayers that I get one soon.

Dinner was changed yesterday. We ended up meeting people at Ponderosa for the senior buffet and drink. I had chicken wings and some taco meat with cheese on it. I also had about a teaspoon of sweet potatoes too and boy were they GOOD! So dinner was good anyway without the shrimp. That is for today.

B: granola bar (with a bit to much sugar) and 6 ozs milk with meds
L: not sure on this one, maybe a small chili from Wendy's with cheese on it
D: shrimp and veggies and grilled veggies
S: probably nothing

I am making today a great day. So far so good and I am keeping it that way.

The granola bar is from Kraft and it a Live Active for digestive health. I like them but don't eat them often because of the suagr in them. I just wish that sugar was one thing that I couldn't eat but I can tolerate some but I need to know what and when. I can tolerate the granola bar so that is one of my bad good things. I do love them. They are blueberry and OH MY!

Better get going. I am pitching stuff in the house and need to do more before going to my meeting with church work. What else is there in my life?! lol

I am sending big hugs and lots of love to you and special prayers are going up for you and yours. I am going to pm you later on.
