I am eating junk today.... to clear out the cupboards donchaknow
I have been studying nearly all day about the glysemic index.... weird how I am finding some sorta contradictory stuff on the web about it...
Shopping tonight, and away I go (hopefully!!) on my new life tomorrow.
Here's what I have so far...
Breakfast
****gg beaters and some veggies like mushrooms and onions for an omelet (no cheese)
(2) Kashi and yogurt
(3) Maybe a chicken omelet... hmm... mushrooms and chicken and... some salsa?
Lunch
(1) Chicken or fish
(2) Salads
(3) Tomato soup
Dinner
Lots of veggies - I love Broccoli and asparagus and green beans, and they are very low on the G.I.
Chicken or fish
Fruit or Yogurt or apples and peanut butter or maybe some SF popsicles or pudding... still working on this as you can tell...
It's gonna take a lot more studying and reading to get this right, but I am starting and that's the important thing!

Hi to all - I don't usually post on this thread, but thought why not... I do enjoy reading and getting ideas from everyone.
For breakfast I had about a 2 1/2" square of a breakfast casserole - made with very fine ground turkey, eggs, and cheese.
Then I made a bean soup with kidney beans, black beans, and tomatoes with a beef bouillon cube. I whizzed it in the processor so that it wouldn't be lumpy.
And I have water and crystal light and I am not sure if I am going to actually eat anything else - I am thinking about a protein shake later.
I feel good and look forward to next week when I will go for my first fill.
Happy Labor Day to all! And bless everyone!
