**~*~*~*~*~**  Gooooood  Saturday to you Miss Linda  and all others....   I took my granddaughter and friend to Seattle yesterday......  I'm exhausted.    Feet, legs and my knees are letting me know they are there and unhappy....  LOL  I was pleasantly surprised to find a nutritious breakfast at Starbucks....  Had cheeses and fruit w/sm cake in it.    Lunch was at a sit down restaurant so I could chose a healthy meal.

B: yogurt kashi    L: cottage cheese w/fruit  D: ham w/cheese veggies   S: protein drink

Linda,

Yesterday it took 3 freaking hours for my lunch to move through my stoma.  I don't mind the slowness - that's part of the point of having the band - but those were not comfortable hours, I think because I overate (that is, I ate the planned amount, but past the point of feeling full).  You'd think that at 11-1/2 mos post-op, I'd have the hang of this thing by now.

B: peanut butter chocolate protein shake w/ 1/2 banana
S:  1/4 c. chocolate cottage cheese pudding
L:  1 oz deviled catfish, 2 bites zucchini
S:  iced decaf latte w/ SF cinnamon syrup
D:  out to eat with my husband (celebrating his 57th birthday)
S:  ?

Dearest Jean, you have some issues there girl. It is good to keep a journal, you can pull up what you write here, as documentation,or just a look back to see your progress.
I hope today is better for you!

Good afternoon Linda and Friends!

Holy crapola, it's almost 1:30 and I forgot about lunch - how unusual.  Could be I'm busy with other things LOL!

While shopping, I picked up a couple of no nos I shouldn't have.  Old habits die hard.  Pre-wls when threatened with a hurricane, the norm was to stock up on comfort snack foods.  Well, I have my Cheetos and potato chips ready, along with Oreo's for George.  None of it interests me YET!

B - protein shake
S - egg over easy
L - Guess I'd better grab something.  I have some deli ham and cheese that we need to eat
S - protein shake
D - OK, so I cooked meatloaf, and have chicken thighs in tomato sauce and beef stew cooking.  I'll choose later!
S - cheese and crackers sounds good to me.  Last weekend I bought 4 different cheeses at Whole Foods, and need to eat at least some of that before the power goes out!

Debi...H3LL No!!!   Give all crap food to George to hold. That way even if you eat some, if you really have to, it will be a serving and not a bunch.
I hope you have a great evening...and a dry one!
..  we must be honest, dear sister, and I am so glad you posted this. I love you, and you make me be honest, I was "gifted" a Banana Muffin, but we know it is like a friggin cake!!
I have not touched it. and because of your honesty,I will give it to the boys, half to each,so less calories for them.
I am off to make my fruit salad...MMMMMM!
I love you! ..
