HI Millie,

We stayed the longest in Seattle. That is where my son lives. The weather was best there too, after that it was pretty cold and rainy for the most part.

Hi Karen,

Thanks, the weather was perfect in Seattle. A few breaks on the San Juan's but unusally cold for that time of year everywhere else. Including here at home! Not looking forward to winter so really wishing our summer was lasting a bit longer...no sitting out on the porch in the mornings....

Wonderful photos! I went to Seattle and the San Juans earlier this summer and loved it. Such beautiful places! At which B&B did you stay? Was it as lovely as that photo indicates? If so, I'd love the name for the next time we go!

You look so happy and so healthy/svelte in the photos. Thanks for sharing them!

Hi Evelyn,
We stayed at the Bacon Mansion on Capital Hill in the Carriage Loft. They served a breakfast of wonderful cut up fruits, yogurt, fresh muffins (which I ate and had a dumping or 2) coffee, granola, cereal, etc.. and coffee in your room, good coffee...
It was very nice and reasonable price too.

The place we stayed on the San Juans was nice, gourmet breakfast, wonderful but room was so tiny...peaceful though.
