Wow it's been 4 years!
Happy anniversary to another 4-year-old. I know all of your feelings. I too am deficient in some vitamins, but you know what? I don't blame myself, and neither should you. I take all my vitamins, and when the bariatric center tells me I have to add another, well, then I add that one. Two years ago, it was iron and vitamin C; this year it's Vitamin D (they're now checking everyone for Vitamin D because they're finding everyone is Vit D deficient). So I happily take another vitamin. I became low on iron even though I was taking my prenatal vitamin; for some reason, I just wasn't absorbing all the iron in that vitamin well enough, so I had to add more iron.
I figured if I didn't lose my weight, I'd be in a wheelchair or dead by the time I was 60; I still may need the wheelchair, but I don't think I'll be dead at least, just doing wheelies in the parking lot.
You have come a long way since you had your surgery; celebrate those changes and the new friends you found. I'm glad to have you as one of my new friends, Debbie. You've certainly brighten my life.

Congratulations, my dear one!
We are the ones who should be thanking you for always cheering us on and keeping our heads up. You've been a wonderful person to lean on and seek out when we've screwed up.
We are all blessed to have this second chance at life, and most of all to have each other to share the journey with.
God bless you.
Love,
Susan

Debbie,
First let me say congratulations on your success. What a long way you've come.
Your message is just beautiful and so timely for me as I prepare for my surgery. I openly accept your gift of the wish that I find health and happiness as I soon begin my wls journey. I want to give years back to myself and my family that my obesity was taking away from me.
Thank you. You really are a blessed woman and a blessing to others.

Donna your surgery is fast approaching! My best advice would be "follow the rules". Being able to play with my grandsons rather than sit on the sidelines watching them is one of the greatest rewards of this surgery! They are 6 1/2 and 5, and I can pretty much keep up with them! Yes, I'm exhausted when they leave, but it's a good, happy exhaustion! I'll keep you in my prayers for a safe and successful surgery.
Debbie
