I need to know how to be sure I can always find 50 and over is there way

I am new to this my suregery is 9-10-08, I fought hard to get here. now the negitve post are scaring me. I start my liquid protein diet Tuesday and some of the products make me feel really bloated and gassy is there a secret??? 

I am a single mom of a teenager, can not expect much help his dad is dead and I have one sister who is very busy. I made this decision because I am insulin dependent diabetic, with mild crohn's and High blood preasure. I want to be able to enjoy an active life.

You are in the right place and do just what Darlene said. I did it and when I come on all I have to do is put the cursor there and click on my beloved OFF.

Keep posting and sharing so we can get to know you and you get to know us. We are always here so don't be bashful about sharing. The more the merrier and so just pull up a seat with a cuppa of your favorite and let's chat.

That is true~Darlene pulls no punches. So if you want to be babied don't ask her! lol But she is a sweetie anyway. I happen to like people who are honest and shoot from the hip.

Don't let those negative posts scare you. This is your decision  and there are risks with any surgery. I ask myself if I don't have the surgery, how many quality years will I have left? Mine are not quality now and I want to really LIVE.
You have our support and you can always stop by and ask anything. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.
Weigh your pros and cons. Write down what you want out of life that you don't have now.

Welcome and please don't let the negative posts scare you, there are always those who would chose to reflect on the negative aspects of any life situation.  Focus instead on the way your health will more than likely improve post-op and how much more of life you will be able to enjoy with your son. 

Even some people who have endured some of the possible complications related to this surgery say they would do this surgery all over again because the benefits have far outweighed the complications.  So believe that you will have a good outcome and think positive things.
