My Body finally gave up.....4 pounds yesterday....
...Thanks all you guys for all your support to get me through that HUGE hump I was at with my weight....I could so easily have given up without your help....I thought of you all so much during each day....knowing I had friends that understood.
I think I tricked my body....I know that I am a bit of a routine eater....finding it eaier not to think about it ..Just eat the same things all the time. Well yesterday I ate all kinds of different things at different times. [like cherrios and a banana for midafternoon snack] I also managed to get in 5 bottles of water. I roasted vegetables for dinner and made potato salad with vinegar and oil [and mustard] dressing. My husband just shook his head this mornig when I told him and said "I don't know how with all you ate last night"
I had to get up 3 times during the night to go, so I thought perhaps this morning I might be down a pound.....whoo hoo it was 4 pounds....Now the "trick" is to keep it off.....so I am going to go work out....right now. Love, Marti

Thanks Angel Debbie.....that old grazing monester is a tough one.....I think the only way I have been able to deal with the no chips etc......is to eat more often, but only good carbs.....I am also working hard to get at least 3 fruits in a day.....not always easy.....as I am such a lazy eater.....[and I have to clean and slice strawberries]...and even though my husband very nicely cuts up a watermelon and a cataloupe and keeps it in the refrigerator.....I sort of don't choose to eat that.....I love the crunchy stuff now.....but in my new plan to shake things up a bit...I am trying to eat different things...and more often.

Thanks Connie honey....I did enjoy my workout...today was weights and when I wanted to give up sometimes, I flashed on those Olympic athletes and how they did not reach their goals by giving up....so I continued past the hard parts. I kept my eye on my goal.....or tried to....I was also careful not to hurt myself becuase I don't want to be forced to give it up for any day.....but boy when I got off the bike after 30 minutes .....I could hardly stand with that nasty cracked tailbone...sure is taking a long time to heal.
