Anyone hear of this? On the WA forum they are talking about it and raving. It's evidently a powdered peanut butter that you reconstitute with water. Supposedly good, lower in calories than regular. Just curious if any of you have heard of it or tried it?

Yes I purchased some about a month or so ago. It's a little pricey, as you have to buy 4 jars at a time.....think
it was around $25 with shipping.....they've just come out
with an even lower fat version.

The company is Bell Plantation and they have a website
bellplantation.com.

It can be reconstituted with water, but I found that I needed to add more water than they recommended. It's good added to s/f puddings, or in protein drinks or smoothies.

Two tablespoons of the powder is 56 calories, I think
and very low fat. I don't have my glasses on or I'd go
and look......ready to go to bed here shortly and just
checking my e-mail.

Hey Karen,

A friend here in AR LOVES it. She eats it on apple slices.  If I liked PB that much I think I'd buy it from her recommendation.

I've been thinking of trying it, but have hesitated at the idea that I have to buy 4 jars for a minimum.  If I hate it, it'll go on the shelf with the 8 or 10 containers of powdered protein mix that I hate.  I'm tired of wasting my money.

On the plus side, I've heard nothing but good things about it.  I'll probably take the plunge soon.

Someone else just posted the web site.

Gotta go to work.

Karen,

I love PB2. It only has 54 calories, compared to 180 calories in Peter Pan peanut butter.  Every day I eat an apple dipped in peanut butter - keeps the plumbing moving. With regular peanut butter, I had to put it in the microwave to make a smooth dip. When using PB2, all I have to do is add a few extra drops of water and it is a nice apple dip.

Hi Karen. I've been using PB2 for over a year. Several of us in my support group split the costs so we each got a jar to see if we liked it first before buying 4 at a time and not liking it. Everyone loved it. I know some who just eat it by the spoonful for PB fix. I use it a lot in my Thai recipes that call for peanut butter. I now call my favorite recipe Thai Chicken Light, with PB2 and a low sugar honey substitute LOL.

Kathy K:
I actually saw "sugar free" honey at Wal Mart yesterday.
That blew my mind.....may have to give it a try.

Thanks everyone! Is there nowhere to buy PB2 in a store?
