Hey Everyone

How's it going?  I know most of you are getting the kids ready for school.  I can't believe it's that time already and summer is almost over.  Use this task to Move and Lose.  Load up that cart and pu**** up and down each isle rather you are shopping there or not.  Ok, if you have the kids in tow that may be a challenge  Use your bags and do some bicep curls.

So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Rocky and I have walked the lake this morning and the Y is featuring a training for a 5k run.  My knees are bad but I am going to participate in the training and will be posting here to share with those that have this on their list of things to do while losing and or when you hit goal.

How are the new goals going?  My water is good, food not so good and slowly getting back to my working out level that I was at months ago

Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy

Take care,
Kathy

FINALLY ! ! !   I have my food menu set for the week... and on the back I have an exercise layout to monitor my progress.  I'm doing better, much better, but still have some adjusting to do.  My exercise mat is in the middle of the floor and easy to get to.  I have a choice of : stretching, weights, walking, or swimming.  I try to choose at least one a day......   Now, the hard part .... doing it.   Have a moving day.....      Millie

WAY TO GO MILLIE

Don't forget to write down your food in a journal kinda way. I found this was a great visual for me to keep track of how much I was eating.

Keep up the great job you are doing

Take care,
Kathy

yes i walked 2 miles this morning mostly uphill in 40 minutes....am trying to work myself up to 5 miles at least a day.
trying to eat more so i can get my caloric intake up to at least 1000, i do great on protein and water but i really have trouble eating enough so my body has fuel to lose. weird isnt it? before surgery you couldnt keep the caloric count low enought now some of us have trouble getting it up hight enough.

Hi Jan,

Try eating every 3 hours with a mix of protein and complex carbs.  See if that helps

Good job on the walking...you will get there

Take care,
Kathy

what would you suggest for the complex carbs???? i have tired and tired to eat meat and i just cant...so i drink protein drinks. to get all my protein. i cant eat eggs either. i have no problem eating beans, or any fruit. it is just something about the consistancy of meat that my pouch doesnt like, i was never a picky eater before surgery, if it didnt move i ate it lol but now there are just so many things i cant eat, and makes it hard to get the calorie intake up where it should be.

You can try Fage with sugar free syrup and fresh fruit
Apple and peanut butter
LF cheese
Oatmeal with protein supp

Also checkout Eggface's website, she has tons of great recipes...
