Good Morning Cheryl and everyone.......

Still struggling today. It is hard to concentrate on my job but I have to keep working at it anyway.

I went to my WL support group last night. It was a really good one. A gal that is just starting has been in contact with me and asked me to be there with her as this was her first group. I really just wanted to stay home but I did it for her anyway. I remember those days. It was nice to have a friend beside you when you felt so uncertain of everything.

Talked to Nic last night. Today is his first day back to school. He is excited about getting back and seeing his friends. He likes school and really enjoys his classes. I will call him this afternoon to see how it all went today!!

Saturday I am picking up my grandson Lucas and he is coming to spend a few days with me. Lucas is ten and just a little sweetheart. I am trying to get ahold of my ex because he wants to golf with Lucas when he is here. Lucas has been golfing for years. He is quite good. He playing with the men and actually does better then some. They love golfing with him!
I have always called Lucas my sugar boy....when I ask him why I do that he says....because I am sweet as sugar!! Love that little boy!!

I best get back to work. Love you all....thanks for being here for me. I would be lost without you!!

Connie, Is the first pic in your profile your "before" pic? I wasn't sure. If it isn't I'd sure like to see one. You have done an amazing job. I love looking at before and afters.

Hi Karen...if you go to my profile and click on"view more photos" and then click on "progress pictures" you will see my picture the night before surgery. I was wearing a red top and jean capris. You can't miss me.........I look like a fire truck!!

Wow, I'm sure I had seen that picture at some point but not for a long time and to compare it to you now! Wow is all I can say. Funny how we all add our weight differently. I looked like a giant potato, filled out every which way. You don't look like you carried much in you lower body. You have changed so much. You look wonderful.

I have always had the most of my weight in my middle. Never had a leg  thigh, or butt problem...thus I am a size 0!!!!

Hi Cheryl and all my OFF Friends,
I have taken a hiatus from the board since my husband had his right full knee replacement.  I'm exhausted from working, taking care of him, keeping the house always ready for visitors and sleeping in the guest bedroom.  The bed is comfortable but just different.  It will take some getting used to that's all.  Bill needs lots of room for shifting his leg around so we decided I would sleep in the guest room.  And I don't have a good track record for not nudging, kicking or otherwise touching his hurt parts while sleeping. LOL.  He better worry that I don't get too attached to sleeping in the guest room.  It may become my room.
Except for some nausea problems from the pain meds he is progressing well.
I'm working on a quarterly report at work that needs to be completed today so I'm going to sign off.

Cherl, we're almost going on vacation together.  We leave on Friday and can't wait.  It's either go on vacation or kill a co-worker. 

Judy, Finally made my reservations for Cedar Point last night.  We're staying at Wolf Lodge in Sandusky.  How far is that from you?  It looks like a fun place with a huge waterpark, so we're only doing the one day at Cedar Point and skip their water park. 

Gotta get busy.  Leaving work in a couple hours for a doctors appointment.  Still having issues with my back and doctor thinks it's my sciatica.  Having dumb feeling in legs and arms.  Want to at least get more muscle relaxers before we go on vacation.

hey floyd!!!! i have to work this weekend then sunday i have to head to michigan for trial monday morning...i am guessing sandusky will be about an hour from here??? not really sure but a guess....lol wish i could meet up with you and brenda for a bit but not sure if i can yet...i am so broke with having to go on this trip and now my car is acting up stalling!!!! so have fun at the parks for me will ya???

sorry to hear about your back, arms and legs hurting you!! hope you get some relief soon from it!!!

My brother is having nerve damage issues in his neck; he is having good results from Lyrica.

I have similar issues in my back as you and use Neurontin at night and it has helped well. The best thing about Neurontin for me is the price: It's 98 cents, whereas Lyrica is a lot more expensive. Anyway, you might want to ask about one of those drugs ... might help with some of the numb feeling and tingling sensations.
