Hi Everyone,
It was a nice 58 degrees when I woke up this morning. Only one wee****il son and daughter go back to school. I wish they had more time off, at least until after Labor Day. My son turned 16 on August 8th and will be going this week to get his learners permit to drive. He's not too into driving, he just wants to start practicing. Our 17th wedding anniversary was on August 10th and I tried my wedding dress on..................it was big in the hips and waist ! I going to get my hair trimmed in about 1/2 hr. We are having a family portrait done in two weeks with my husbands family as a gift to his Mom for her 80th birthday. I don't want a "new" haircut, 2 weeks will give it enought time to look just right.
I'm now down 70lbs so hopefully I'll look great in the family photo.

morning candy and off family!!!
not much happening here...just working and resting these weary aching bones of mine!!! thankfully i am only working 4 hours today and tomorrow!!! need to go shopping for some new shoes and support hose and maybe some gel insoles.
talked with my sister and she asked me if i ever noticed that gary had some sort of seizure where he just sits and stares into space....nope never saw that one before...must be something new??? this dr (which i think is a quack) took him off some of his meds that were working good for him and now he is doing weird things...heard he also attacked a nurse when he was in the adult foster care home!!!! guess he head butted her and threatened to kill her....and i asked my sister if she thought he was going to be ok with her...hope she knows what she is up against...all i can say is i am glad i am not with him anymore!!!! one more week and i am free from him!!!!!!! can't come soon enough!!! i am sure my credit will be ruined with the house going back to the bank but i can't afford it and he doesn't want it...i don't want any part of selling it either!!! told his POA daughter she can deal with it....seems its all about her any how!!! like i said i will be glad when this divorce is over and done with!!!!
need to get a haircut again...not sure if its because i am wearing a hat at work or if its just to long on top that it just goes flat all the time....even without a hat on it goes flat and i hate that!!!!
well thats it for me for today..off to get a hot shower in before work...need to get going to the store also so off i go...have a great day!!!!

I haven't been online since I sneaked in on Friday from work. What's up with Margo? I must have missed something. Hope everything is OK.
Good gracious Karen I thought 99 was hot! Of course we have the humidity too, so we steam rather than bake.
What a weekend! Chasing around after a 5 y/o and 6 1/2 y/o has taken a toll on both George and me. Gabe, daughter, and SIL arrived earlier than expected @ 7:30 Friday evening. We expected tham closer to 8:30. Seems Gabe was so excited when they started packing the car, he climbed in and wouldn't get out. So, they hurried, checked the house, locked up and took off! Gabe loved the shrimp ettoufe, salad, and green beans. For someone so skinny (50 lbs), he sure can demolish the groceries. He couldn't wait for Ethan to join us Sat. morning. We took them to the Insectarium ~shutter, shiver, OMG BUGS~ It was nicer than I had imagined. Some yucky bugs, and some very beautiful ones. There's a station behing the little cafe where you can sample mealy worms, crickets... We all (George, Mom, daughter, SIL, son, Gabe, and I) tried them. Ethan was the only holdout who absolutely would not taste a bug. I bought the boys lollipops with crickets in them. Gabe gobbled his down, while Ethan was not so interested once the cricket started to show through the candy. Sat. evening we went to the Zephyr's game, Z's lost, but we still had a great time. Sat. night grandpa and the boys camped out in the living room. Grandma tiptoes upstairs to the comfort of her bed! Sunday morning they helped grandpa check the garden and pick okra and bell peppers. Grandma cooked a big breakfast which they were a little too excited to eat. It was sad seeing them leave yesterday morning. The house seems to quiet and lonely. We'll be visiting them in Eunice in three weeks, and hopefull taking Ethan along with us. And yes, I did
for a few minutes after they left. Everybody arrived home safely! DD and SIL dropped Ethan off at our son's house on their way home. Back to work!

Good Morning ladies. Surgery is tomorrow morning at 0730. I must be at the hospital at 0530. I am a bit scared. Today, I'll have fun with 90 cc. of phosphosoda, yum.Clear liquids all day. No coffee,no tea, jus****er,diet jello and broth. I'd like to go back to sleep and wake up with the sleeve already done. lol The unknown is what I do not like. Well, I am going to drink some water.
