Aloha cowgirl53......So nice to see you. You must have been a "lightweight" when you had surgery....needing to lose less than 100 lbs. Good for you on being just six pounds from your goal. You will make it, and probably go right on past it like I did.

I'm surprised that you are still taking Actigal. We were told that we only needed to take it for six months after surgery to avoid stones. But, hey, if your doc told you to take it longer, who am I to question that. It sounds to me like you are using your tool very well.....and being rewarded with doing that.

Hopefully you'll find the answer to the food getting stuck......it may be a stricture. Many people have had 3 or 4 endoscopies to open that up, and they say it's no big deal...you feel nothing.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm very happy for you...and I KNOW you must be very happy with your new life.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Yes, I am a light weight--------  even though I haven't had that much too loose I have lost very very slowly.  I have been at this weight for several months and can't seem to get any lower.
When I went for my 6mo check up Dr. said that i would have to stay on Actigal for a year... so what the heck is two more pills........

I didn't know exactly what was involved when someone has a stricture, so thanks for letting me know that it is no big deal........  so I will contact my dr because I was just going to deal with it even though it is annoying that everything solid seems to get stuck.

This was cool............   Cheers, to you Maui Karen...
