Ola my friends!! Hope everyone's weekend is off to a awesome start! I got a B12 shot at my doctors office Wednesday, and I feel better, can't really explain, I think my body feels stronger. She gave me a script for a self injecting one..I have never had to give myself a needle, but did give them before, many times.
B-SB Roasted turkey meal  L-Steak with onions and Portebello mushrooms.  D- Cottage Cheese and Cantalope.
S- Last apple..LOL.
I wish everyone sunshine and happiness today. Remember,ALL movement is good, some of us are limited, but there is much we can do anyway,if we wanna!

Good Morning Linda,

Glad the B-12 shot made you feel better.  I've been doing ok on my food this past week, just to darn busy to post much.  I am going through OH withdrawal..

Today
Pre B- 2 cups Joe (leaded)
B- Kashi & Skim Milk
S:  dixie cup ???
L- Grilled Pork Tenderloin & stir Fry vegies
D- ???? not sure yet, have to see what DH wants

This afternoon we are taking cupcakes & dixie cups to the nursing home for my mother in laws Bday.  Wish me luck the cupcakes aren't calling me but that ole ice cream will. Have to see how many cals/carbs in a dixie cup before we go, at least the portion part will be ok...

Linda, gotta love those icons..I'm still working on them..daughter says I forgot to do a step so that will be my next try..LOL...I never used to be computer challenged!

I 'm actually freezing today..I told hubby I'd rather have a S/F $4 bucks coffee instead of ice cream, he thinks I'm crazy now,  he had a big ice cream peanut butter thingie last weekend and asked if I wanted some, i said just a taste of the vanilla, can you separate the rest out. He just shook his head and ate it all himself.!! I did hit 245 on the scale so I'm happy about that. I still need to work on not obsessing about the big scale or the food scale and the measuring stuff.   The NUT said by now I should be able to judge my portions without measuring everything out..but......thta fear raises its ugle head that I will quit losing and start regaining.

Thanks for always listening and supporting crazy neurotic me!  Hugz, Paulette.

LOL!! You are too funny! I think you should measure as long as it makes you comfortable.
That ugly food monster is always waiting in the corner...we can kick it's arse though!

Good Morning  Linda and fellow foodies.......  I'm still struggling with my eating habits.  (bad habits)  I start out doing very well in the A.M. Then, start slipping around my mid afternoon snack then dinner is anywhere from 4:30 on... and on .... and on...  Aaaarghh....  I'm in the midst of trying to figure out a good plan for self control......

Lunch will be a bitter/ sweet time for me today .... I will be going out with two of my sons and their families..   It will be my last time seeing my oldest son before he heads to Iraq tomorrow.  I know it will be a fun luncheon but silently pensive inside...   B: cottage cheese w/pear  L: ??? topped with tears   D: chili...  S: protein drinks....   Millie

Dear sweet Millie,of course you are struggling now!! My son has been deployed 3 times, he is Navy.
You DO NOT have to be perfect girl!! Do the best you can. Fill up your life with high protein snacks like yogurt, make some strawberry milk shakes...mmm.
Making a less than perfect choice, is something we all know about.
You are still in the race.
Hugs!

HI Linda!

Good to see you feel better with the shot. I sure hope they will help you any way they can.

I'm going to re-evaluate what I've been eating here lately.  Not losing.  I know I need to get more activity in and that will help.  We'll see how I do.  In the meantime, the meal plan is:

B-AchievOne (addictive little suckers)
L- Cottage Cheese w/applesauce and cinnamon
D- fish of some kind

Snacks will be protein shakes

Hugs to you dear lady,

Kathi

Dear sweet Kathi, I do not know what your doc gave you for protein requirements. It looks like you are eating lotsa protein, you may need more veggies if you can handle them, they are called "good carbs", and my NUT says they actually burn fat! I know you well enough to know you are drinking your liquids.
I also suspect you have muscle too, which is great, you may lose a little less pounds sometimes because you are not all fluffy...grin.
It pays to keep a chart of your measurements. Whoopie managed to lose like 21 inches from her body while only losing a few pounds...go figure!
Take plenty of pics, at least one a month, and you shall see your progress.
Hugs back to you sweet one!

Linda,

I'm so glad the B-12 shot helped.  I had to give myself a daily injection of Lovenox (blood thinner) for 21 days after my lap-band surgery.  It turned out to be much easier to do than I expected.

B:  a few bites of oatmeal - got stuck (my band is definitely tighter since my fill on Thursday)
S:  20-oz iced latte w/ SF caramel, 12 grapes
L:  2 oz pineapple chicken, 1/4 c. broccoli & grape salad
S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ raspberries
D: 2 oz salmon w/ strawberry vinaigrette, 2 oz green beans
S:  4 oz SF chocolate peanut butter pudding
