OT.....update Nic
Hi Connie: If I could come across the internet and hug you I would. Sometimes words aren't enough. I am unsure since I am new to the website for 50's and older but, it sounds like this might be a grandson. I feel your pain as a Grammie of Amelia and Ava as they sleep soundly in the next room...(babysitting) As a Hospice Nurse it is news noone wants to get and I wish I could chnage the siutation and the results, but like I tell my patients I can't but, I will try my best to make your road less bumpy. Read the Last lecture by Randy Pausch it is an amazing book...you will be blest. In times like these some folks don't want to hear flowery promises because sometimes they can not be fulfilled at least in this life and by flawed and imperfect people but, the scripture's promises come to pass each and every time they are made and the proof is in the scriptures and my life verse says, "And we know ALL things work for good to those who love the Lord and are called accroding to His purpose" Romans 8:28 Exactly what good is designed by God for Nic remains a mystery at this point and when it is uncovered and obvious to us what a glory it will be...If there is anything I can do whi*****ludes my prayers Please do not hesitate to let me know....Patricia Patton
Hugs and Prayers are in the "air" Dear Connie,
I hope and pray that Nic responds well to treatment. I'm quite sure he knows he has strong family, a very special Grandmother...... and her wonderful "sisters" here on OFF keeping the good vibes going.
Try to take care of yourself this weekend to remain strong. Keep the positive thoughts going my friend!
Hugs,
Kathi
